Home Remedies for Eczema Scars

Eczema is a chronic disease which gives you awful scars on body as it causes inflammation on the outer layer of skin. Honey
Honey is a great option to cure these scars due to its antiseptic and antibacterial properties. It can help very effectively in lightening the eczema scars on skin. All you need to do is, wash the affected area of your skin and then apply honey on it directly for a while. Apart from that you can also make a scrub out of honey by mixing it with crystalized sugar and by applying that scrub on scars for few minutes before rinsing it with water. Bear in mind that you have to repeat this process daily unless or until your scars go away.

Oatmeal

It is another good treatment for scars. Get 1 cup of oatmeal in a grinder and grind it into a powder form then put this powder in your tub’s lukewarm water then soak your body into it for 20 to 30 minutes. You will see the effect shortly after opting out for this treatment. Moreover, oatmeal bath is very effective in curing eczema scars; therefore, you can take this bath thrice a day after having considered the severity of your scars

Apple Cider Vinegar
It is an effective and very useful remedy to treat many diseases, eczema scars are one of such diseases. You can use one part of this vinegar with water and apply it directly on skin to prevent dryness and itchiness. It is a good remedy for these scars because it has antifungal and antibacterial properties. Moreover, you can also mix 2 spoons of this vinegar and honey each in a glass of water and then drink it thrice a day for quick and positive results

Cocoa Butter
You can use it directly on your scars to lighten them gradually but effectively. Give your scars a regular massage with cocoa butter as this will also keep your skin moist

Indian Lilac
To treat the redness, itchiness and inflammation on your skin caused by eczema scars you can also use ‘neem’ a.k.a Indian lilac as an effective treatment. You are simply required to mix one tea spoon of crushed Indian lilac into turmeric then add a little sesame oil in it. Afterwards you can apply this mixture directly on the affected areas of your body for few minutes before washing them away. Further, you will have to repeat this process once daily at least to have promising results

Fish Oil
One of my favorite remedies to treat eczema scars as it works incredibly well when it comes to healing. You can consume this oil thrice a day in order to get rid of your scars. Bear in mind that fish oil contains omega 3 fatty acids which are very beneficial in healing scars. Moreover, another way of consuming it is, eating more of that fish oil rich food. Do give a shot to this tip and you will see the effects yourself

Aloe Vera
It has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties which help in reducing the irritation triggered by eczema scars and then eventually, work towards lightening these scars from your body. Now what do you have to do with aloe vera? You can use the aloe vera gel in two ways either apply it directly on the affected areas or mix it with vitamin E oil and then apply that thin paste on your skin in the night. After having done with that, next morning wash off your skin with lukewarm water for good results. However, bear in mind that you will have to keep repeating this suggested remedy until or unless your scars vanish completely

Baking Soda
It is another very useful ingredient to eliminate dead cells from the skin. It is also used as a treatment to cure many diseases. But to treat eczema scars you will have to mix one teaspoon of water in to two spoons of baking soda to prepare a mixture then apply it on the affected areas of your body followed by a massage in circular motion. After few minutes you can rinse your skin with lukewarm water.
