Prostate Cancer? “12 Early Symptoms Men Should Never Ignore”

One of the most common types of cancer in men, prostate cancer has high rates of successful treatment if detected early. Unfortunately, as with most other cancers, it doesn’t give any symptoms until it reaches an advanced stage. This significantly reduces a person’s chance of favorable treatment response. It’s because of this that men are strongly advised to do preventative annual tests.

Prostate Cancer

Urination problems

  1. Frequent need to urinate especially during nighttime
  2. Incapacity to urinate or holding back while urinating
  3. Inability to completely empty one’s bladder or weak urine stream
  4. Pain or burning while urinating
  5. Blood in the urine
  6. Blood in the sperm
  7. Ejaculation problems
  8. Pain in the hips, thighs or lower back
  9. Pelvic pain
  10. Bone aching
  11. Erectile dysfunction

Any of these signs should be an alarm to see a doctor immediately. Also, be aware that these symptoms are not all-inclusive. Any other unexplained pain, inflammation, burning or infection also asks for urgent medical attention.

Preferably, every man should get routine annual or biannual medical checks as prevention is the best treatment. Making some lifestyle changes in relation to diet and workout routine is also important. This will not only reduce the risk of cancer, but also of other serious diseases

Last, but not least, other conditions, such as urinary tract infections, can also produce these symptoms, but this doesn’t mean they should be disregarded as unimportant.
