Thyme is one of the best herbs that can help treat lung infections. Not only it helps the lungs to get rid of the mucus but it also strengthens them. It is very effective against bacterial infections. To get rid of bronchitis, just boil half a teaspoon of thyme in a cup of water and let it steep for 3 to 5 minutes. You can add honey to sweeten this tea. Consume this tea two times a day.
You can also get rid of the congestion by rubbing thyme oil on your chest. Take 2 parts olive oil, combine it with 1 part thyme oil and massage your chest with this oil. Keep your chest covered after the application of this oil.
Onions and Honey
